I’ve had this suspicion for a while that my mom installed a keylogger program on my comp, but i really want to be sure. So i was wondering if there was a way to find the program, and if it is there, uninstall it. Then maybe there’s a way to prevent it from being reinstalled..? but i dont know maybe thats pushing it a little lol. thanks guys!

As far as I know, keylogger programs aren’t sold to the general public so I don’t know how your mom would have gotten one.
If she DID put that on your computer, she must think you’re doing something that you either shouldn’t, or are not supposed to. Have you given her reason to not trust you lately? If so, maybe that would be why she put it on there. Why not talk to her & see if you can find out if she did or not.

you can first use keylogger remover to delete the keylogger you mom install in your computer,eg,spyware doctor,you can search it by google.
actually there isn’t any effective way to stop your mom install it into your computer.but i have a few suggestion.
1.you can set an access code of your computer so that your mom is not possible to use it.
2.or you can install a keylogger in your computer by your own so that you know everything of your computer when you are away.

Tell your mom you need a new keyboard and mouse, make sure you get a logitech ex 100 keyboard… install the software that comes with it, I think it’s called setpoint software.
When you go to the main panel for it , click on the security tab and check the box for encryption…..then your keyboard is using a encryption when talking to your computer. I’m almost sure this will fix your problem…

that way the keylogger won’t work on your system. It won’t get rid of it, but it will make the keylogger not work! So your info will be safe

Run a quick scan and if it finds anything just delete it.
If you have a problem you might have to scan in safe mode.
