I have reason to believe that my ex installed a keylogger into my computer before I moved out, and that he may possibly be getting all my information e-mailed to him via this keylogger. Does anyone know how I can search to see if there is one installed? And also, is there any FREE software that can remove it? I recently installed SuperAntiSpyware…but I can’t remember if I moved out before or after that.
Comodo Firewall with defense + turn on will tell you if any program is logging key strokes. It will also tell you where the program is located on your computer. When you install Comodo just don’t install the anti-virus part of Comodo you will get that option.
Well since most keyloggers can’t be detected you have to go to run than type in msconfig.Than go to startup. Look at the list to see do you see softwares names you nvr installed. Than go to the service tab and look at it too. IF nothing is shown than your good. Just rescan your computer with windows defender and a virus scanner.

unfortunately that is very hard to tell…. there are many loggers that will escape detection no matter what….
I suggest you re-format you HD, it is the only way of being 100% sure
