My computer is a 2004 dell desktop. I have a virus check that takes care of the infections, but I can’t get all the spyware off.

Don’t listen to the fools that say Norton, or AVG.
It is bad to have more then one anti-virus at a time, as they interfere with each other.
Spyware scanners, on the other hand the more then better. Personally, I like Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware. Both are really good, and have positive reviews.

Hey, I know the feeling. There are quite a few softwares out there you can download that are safe, so i’ll name a few.
AVG Scan < – it’s really good. Scans very well and quarantines the viruses/junky junk.
Malwarebytes <– I’ve never used this program before, but I hear it is a very nice program. I’m not sure if it’s only special for Malware, but i’m pretty sure it gets rid of most stuff.
Sorry, I don’t know many. :( I truly hope that your computer gets better!
P.S. Never ever ever ever download AntiVirus 2009. Fake program.

Scanned with kaspersky scanner online. Usually kaspersky is the best virus buster.
