I ran a scan recently and it said i had the W32/Downloader virus. My anti-virus deleted it, then it came back. My anti-virus is freedom. I dont get any pop-ups (knock on wood) but if the reason im getting this virus because i download music from places like LimeWire and Kazza? I did download after I ran the first scan, so Im guessing thats what caused it, im not too good with computers so bear with me if this is a stupid question.
Thanks!

Shareware and P2P apps are full of virus and spyware. All it took is just one machine in the network to be infected before most user PCs to be infected too. They are not worth it. If you still want them on your pc you need to have a firewall, antivirus and spyware scanners installed on your pc. Read the FAQs on those programs before using them beacuse they may tell you how to protect your pc but still be able to share stuffs with other people.

This is the reason I preach so hard against all of the p2p programs, I bet you downloaded a mp3 that was virused, turn off your machine, stand back, and throw it out of the window!

Try the free trial of Panda. It kills stuff with viruses before they even get to the hard disc.
