    Hi
you could use Avast if you are looking for a free anti virus. Avira does not have a webguard and AVG does not have a root kit scanner. Avast has them all!

So it is avast+Mbam+comodo as a free internet security suite, which is excellent. Turn on Windows Defender as well.

Avast sucks because it uses so much RAM and has a horrible detection rate. Use COMODO CIS 3.9 for best protection. Avast found 2 viruses, malwarebytes 17 and COMODO 27 so yea…And no lie half of them were conflicker.F or Trojan.Vundo along with fake rogue software. Avast! is unable to remove rogue software as it continuously found it over and over when comodo terminated it in less than 5 seconds.

For ultimate Protection just run a internet security ( suggest KIS or Bitdefender) then Threat fire and just download but dont run all the time Malwarebytes just incase KIS misses something.

it moves the files to a safe place in your hard drive think of it as a safe and once everything in the safe it cant get out

when i click 0on the “download free version” on the Malwarebytes site it redirects me to a page called “majorgeeks”…i don’t think that’s supposed to happen…is it?

its normal. They don’t host the file themselves (to save bandwidth i guess). Just download it. Majorgeeks is pretty much a trusted website.
