I keep getting a pop-up telling me my computer is infected with this Trojan.Zlob-X.a. How can I get rid of this?

    Trojan.Zlob uses stealth installation, randomly named entries and has the capability to self update or restore after incomplete removal. Nasty piece of work. Use the link below to get rid of it.

    i had that virus but i got it away. the best way is to go to download.com it gives you all these downloads that are free and most of them are downloads to get rid of pop ups and viruses. it helps alot by going to download.com

    Yes, SuperAntispyware will remove this trojan from your pc. I would recommend you download the program, install, update, take your computer off of the internet, then run a complete scan of your pc. This should remove it without a problem. I would also suggest doing a free online malware scan/removal @ Trend Micro Housecall. Good luck!

    Zlob-x.a is a Trojan that distributes IE Defender that changes settings and modifies files on your computer. Zlob-x.a can hijack your IE browser and display an error message within your search results in search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.
    You have to be careful when visiting Web sites or downloading files to avoid possible infection of Zlob-x.a.
    Remove Zlob-x.a before it starts downloading and installing malicious software, such as IE Defender.
    Try getting rid of Zlob-x.a using a free removal tool, such as SmitfraudFix. If this doesn’t work, then pay to remove Zlob-x.a.

    Trojan.Zlob-x.a is a new variant of Zlob trojan. It can hijack your homepage, generating fake security warnings and then install malicious applications through system security holes. Trojan.Zlob-x.a displays an error message integrated in Google search results. This trojan can degrade system perfomance, change registry settings, download and execute misleading applications (rogue anti-spyware, spyware). Remote hackers can gain complete control of your PC, steal sensitive data such as credit card numbers, logins and passwords e.t.c. Security specialists recomend to remove this parasite immediately.
